Unlike its neighbour Magaluf, Palma Nova is more suited to couples and families rather than groups of hen and stag parties, and although not as upmarket as Portals Nous, eating here is much more family sophisticated, there are fine dining restaurants along the seafront, inlcluding sushi and Indain cusiine, but that doesn´t mean there is a shortage of cafes and bars to enjoy, selling traditional British family food.
There is a wide walkway skirting the length of its two long sandy beaches, where you can watch the yachts which moor in the bay during the summer months. You can hire cycles for two or four people, and there are lots of play areas for kids swings, climbing frames and puzzles, including a tube slide near its Club Nautico from the walkway down to the beach, joining a beach rope pyrimid, and other climbing frames.
There is crazy golf, and during the evening there are trampolines, and a kids mini fair.
There are lots of shops, selling gifts, perfume and cigarettes, along both sides of the road. There are lots of Hotels and apartments along its seafront.
You can hire sunbeds and umbrellas for the beach which cost 3.50? each for the day in summer 2010
